We calculated the total amount of dispensed OCS per 1000 individuals per year and the annual period prevalence of OCS-users, categorized by the level of OCS-exposure, i.e. 1) no OCS use, 2) low OCS use (<5 mg OCS in prednisolone-equivalent doses/d/y), and 3) high OCS use (≥5 mg OCS/d/y)...High-users of OCS were older than non-users (median 36 years vs. 33 years in 2017), and more likely to be of female sex (59% vs. 53%). CONCLUSION The prevalence of OCS users among young adults with asthma in Denmark is stable and generally low at around 4.6%, with high use of OCS being rare.

Children with reduced airway protective reflexes and poor swallowing function who may be further compromised by corticosteroid treatment should probably avoid taking Lactobacillus containing food products.

Further studies are needed to assess the role of anti eosinophilic medications in this condition.

Mediastinoscopic lymph node excision and lung biopsy revealed non-necrotizing granulomas with hyalinizing fibrosis, which in conjunction with elevated serum calcium and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) levels lead to the diagnosis of sarcoidosis and subsequent initiation of azathioprine and corticosteroids, with minimal improvement...Chemotherapy with R-EPOCH (Rituximab, Etoposide, Prednisolone, Oncovin, Cyclophosphamide, Hydroxydaunorubicin) has produced satisfactory improvement in the patient's symptoms...Our literature review yielded one case of sarcoidosis associated with IVBCL 4 ; our case uniquely demonstrates the occurrence of sarcoidosis-lymphoma syndrome with cerebral IVBCL. Conclusion Clinicians should be aware about association of sarcoidosis and lymphoma, and remain vigilant, given the symptomatology overlap and life-threatening nature of the disease.

Further trials in large populations are warranted to evaluate long-term efficacy and safety of the treatment.
