Despite more advanced disease in cHL, use of eBEACOPP (bleomycin, eto- poside, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, procarbazine, prednisolone) was reduced (9% vs 14%)...In DLBCL, R-CODOX-M/R-IVAC (rituximab, doxorubicin, cyclophos- phamide, cytarabine, methotrexate, etoposide, ifosfamide) is used locally for high-risk disease...This provides reassurance that presentation with new lymphoid malignan- cies was not affected as markedly as feared though there was a trend towards more advanced presentation with cHL. With continued fol- low up, it will be interesting to observe whether patients presenting during COVID-19 pandemic have comparable outcomes with regards to delays to presentation and impact on treatment choice.

Histopathologic examination of colonic biopsies with special stains such as PAS is recommended in every dog with signs of chronic large bowel disease in order to avoid missing this rare infectious disease.

There is sufficient evidence in the initial phase that GC treatment in addition to methotrexate (MTX) improves the patient's response to the disease activity as well as the subjective perception of impairments...This can be achieved by using a clinically tested scheme of reducing the prednisolone intake by 1 mg every 4 weeks...An ongoing process of readjusting treatment following shared-decision rules must both consistently adapt GC doses and constantly check the indications. Even if a GC-free treatment does not seem realistic, a low-dose GC treatment of RA still is and should be pursued to reduce the risks associated with the treatment.

Animals treated with prednisolone presented less severe seizures than the animals in the saline group, and there was a decrease in pro-inflammatory cytokine levels in central structures, but not peripheral ones. In short, an animal model of chemically-induced epileptic seizures was used, in which the animals were treated with doses of prednisolone, and these animals presented less severe seizures than the negative control group (saline), in addition to showing decreased levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-1β and TNF-α, in the hippocampi and prefrontal cortices, but not the sera.
