    To circumvent this dilemma, we combined an ICD inducer (Shikonin, SHK) with an autophagy inhibitor (hydroxychloroquine, HCQ) for colon cancer immunotherapy...Furthermore, a systematic determination of the optimal dosage of combined LipSHK and LipHCQa suggested that autophagy inhibiting at an appropriate dosage level was beneficial for maximizing ICD-based antitumor immunity. This study proved that autophagy inhibitors can recover the deficient ICD-based antitumor immune response and present potential clinical applications for cancer immunotherapy.

    Inducing ER stress through thapsigargin treatment or SERCA2A knockdown in SIRT-1 knockdown cells had no additional effect on EV-D68 extracellular titers...In non-lytic conditions, EV-D68 is primarily released in an enveloped form, and SIRT-1 is required for this process. Our data show that SIRT-1, through its translocation to the cytosol, is critical to promote the release of enveloped EV-D68 viral particles.

    Then, the autophagy agonist Rapamycin and inhibitor 3-MA were used in a periodontitis mouse model to investigate periodontal tissue destruction...Finally, our research proved that silencing CKIP-1 reduces the expression of inflammatory cytokines in Pg-induced PDLC and HGF by regulating autophagy. Overall, a new role for CKIP-1 in regulating periodontal tissue inflammation was demonstrated in our study, and it is possible to treat periodontitis by targeting the CKIP-1 gene.

    The overexpression of Coro1a in LO2 liver cells inhibited autophagic flux and elevated inflammatory cytokine levels upon palmitic acid (PA) stimulation. Overall, our findings provide new insights into the regulatory role of CREBH in the progression of NASH and reveal that Coro1a is a novel target gene of CREBH based on the autophagy pathway.

This scholarly endeavor not only provides novel prospects for the application of ginsenosides in the treatment of breast cancer but also suggests future research directions for researchers.

Thus, our findings demonstrate PARP1 as a potential mediator of JEV pathogenesis that can be effectively targeted for treating JE.

    Overexpression of miR-30a-3p inhibited autophagy and altered mammary structure in the involution of the mammary glands of mice, which was indicative of alteration in mammary remodeling. Taken together, these results elucidated the molecular mechanisms of miR-30a-3p as a key induction mediator of autophagy by targeting Atg12 within the transition period between lactation and involution in mammary glands.

    We conduct a further analysis, suggesting F1 could bind in proximity to the TRF2 heterodimer interface, potentially enhancing dimerization stability. These findings suggest that F1 may be a promising natural remedy for anti-aging, and restoring TRF2 could potentially prevent telomere-dependent diseases commonly associated with the aging process.
