    The efficacy and safety of fexofenadine for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR) symptoms have been demonstrated by numerous clinical studies, irrespective of the season and underlying allergen. In this review, we discuss the allergic rhinitis classification, the role of climate change, air pollution, and factors contributing to year-round symptoms in patients with AR and the need for continuous pharmacological treatment for management.

    The release rate depended both on the type of polymer and pH and varied between 0.1 and 0.9 min. Consequently, the selection of the carrier polymer allowed for the adjustment of the release rate according to the requirements, thus justifying the use of electrospun fibers as carrier materials for levocetirizine.

    Enantioselective lithiation of N'-aryl-N-benzyl-N-isopropyl ureas using a chiral lithium amide base generates a benzyllithium that undergoes an unactivated stereospecific intramolecular nucleophilic aromatic substitution to generate an α,α-diarylmethylamine in the form of its urea derivative, in up to >99% ee. Treatment with acid induces an 'azatropic shift' with retention of configuration, the product of which may be hydrolysed to the target amine.

    In bepotastine group, arousal calm and positive tired scores increased at 4 week as compared to baseline. Patients with dermatological illnesses can be prescribed fexofenedine and bepotastine, as compared to chlorpheniramine and levocetirizine, and their cognitive and psychological functions should be evaluated periodically with suitable tests.

    In patients with mucosal disease, only 46.87 % patients of group ET had a favorable outcome in comparison to 90.28 % patients of group AT while in patients with squamosal disease, 17.56 % patients of group ET and 28.99 % patients in group AT had a dry ear. Surgeries in AT group were found to have statistically significant higher success rate as compared to ET group.

    This study provided in vitro evidence for the first time that cetirizine more potently inhibited the process of exocytosis in mast cells than diphenhydramine, indicating its higher potency as a mast cell-stabilizer. Such mast cell-stabilizing property of cetirizine could be ascribed to its counteracting effect on the plasma membrane deformation in degranulating mast cells.

    This study was aimed to evaluate the effects of H1 antagonist's ebastine and levocetirizine in PD per se and in combination...Group III was treated with levodopa/carbidopa (levo 20 mg/kg)...In combination therapy with the standard drug, ebastine (4 mg/kg) significantly improved the cataleptic state and dopamine levels, but no significant difference in the renal and liver functioning tests was observed. This study concluded that ebastine (4 mg/kg) might work in the treatment of PD as it improves the cataleptic state in haloperidol-induced catalepsy.

    In refractory cases of chronic urticaria, the most frequent attitude was to increase the dose of the same 2GH1AH and not to use mixed 2GH1AH/1GH1AH regimens. A high proportion believed that 4-times the authorized 2GH1AH dose was sufficiently safe, but the maximum dose achieved differed among H1AHs.
