We used two UM cell lines, 92.1 and Mel-202, which both contain the most common activating mutation Gα and developed stable cell lines with doxycycline-inducible RGS2 protein expression...Furthermore, RGS2 induction resulted in only partial reduction in cell growth as compared to siRNA-mediated Gαq knockdown, perhaps because RGS2 was only able to reduce MAPK signaling downstream of phospholipase Cβ (PLCβ), while leaving activation of the Hippo signaling mediators YAP/TAZ, the other major pathway downstream of Gα, unaffected. Taken together, our data indicate that RGS2 can inhibit UM cancer cell growth by associating with Gα as a partial effector antagonist.

From the view of public health, isolation and identification of Salmonella multidrug-resistant strains from raw cow`s milk and locally prepared dairy products sold in the Libyan markets indicate the need to improve the handling and processing of milk and dairy products to minimize the prevalence of Salmonella, one of the most important foodborne microorganisms that cause food poisoning.

In order to achive the best result in choosing the suitable treatment and avoiding the loses the money and time, it is better to use the D-test for inducible clindamycin resistance in the daily routine work of antibiotic susceptibility testing in hospital and private clinical laboratories.

We revisited the issue via the use of OMP-tTA; TetO-Cre; Rosa26-fl(stop)-Tdtomato (OMP-tTA;TdT) mice, which allowed us to selectively label ∼95% of the OMP(+) OSN population that reach maturity by a given time and, by switching to doxycycline chow, to "chase" this preexisting OSN population...Finally, proliferation rates anticorrelated with the spatial differences in OSN survival; higher proliferation rates were observed ventrally. Together, these results demonstrate spatial and temporal differences in OSN survival, highlighting it as a dynamic system that can be studied for factors affecting neuronal survival.

Treatment response has been reported with salazopyrin, MMF, tacrolimus, methotrexate, steroids and phototherapy...This is the first case to demonstrate objective improvement using the LoSCAT score. Using objective disease outcome measures allows disease severity monitoring within patients. Future reports of treatment efficacy in rare conditions should use harmonized objective disease outcome measures to facilitate comparison between cases.
