LVAD speed and medication adjustments may be necessary following ARNI initiation, and in some instances, side effects can limit the ability to sustain ARNI therapy in the setting of LVAD.

She was treated with intravenous ceftriaxone and mometasone furoate 0.1% ointment for 2 weeks, with good clinical improvement and complete resolution of the rash. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of flagellate erythema caused by bacteraemia, illustrating the heterogeneous aetiology and histological features of this rare dermatosis.

Our data show that WNK4, via regulation of TRPV5, limits distal calcium losses following acute treatment with furosemide; however, WNK4 deletion does not affect the chronic renal response to dietary calcium depletion. Our data reveal an in vivo role for WNK4 in distal nephron calcium handling that is important for fine-tuning calcium reabsorption.
