    This last idea was investigated herein by examining males treated with the aromatase inhibitor, letrozole, administered prenatally (0.56 ?g/kg G10-22)...The higher expression of ERs in these males was different than their expression in females, with male sex-preference. This suggests that males with same-sex preference showed a unique brain, this sui generis steroid receptor expression probably participates in the biological underpinnings of sexual preference.

    Sex reversal was induced via the oral administration of letrozole (LTZ), 17?-methyltestosterone (MT), and 17?-estradiol (E), respectively, during the labile period of gonadal development...LTZ and MT could accelerate gonadal development in sex-reversed genotype-males, whereas E inhibited gonadal development in genotype-females of rock bream. These findings provide a basis for further research on the mechanisms of sex determination and differentiation in fishes with XXY sex chromosome system and provide a sex reversal protocol for rock bream.

    At a willingness to pay of $100,000/QALY gained, our model predicts that combining CDK4/6 inhibitors plus letrozole is not cost effective with a marginal increase in QALYs at a high cost. Lowering the cost of these drugs or identifying patients who can receive maximal benefit from CDK4/6 inhibitors would improve the value of this regimen in patients.
