We recommend that in countries with a high prevalence of antibiotic resistance in H. pylori strains, particularly where the amoxicillin-resistance rate of H. pylori is high, therapy tailored to antimicrobial susceptibility should be used as first-line therapy, and bismuth and tetracycline should be added to enhance the eradication efficacy in children.

WCK 771 showed chondrotoxicity in the Beagle dog pups on repeat dose administration; however the severity level was lower than ofloxacin. Overall, preclinical safety studies helped establish wider safety margin for WCK 771 and WCK 2349 that supports administration of higher therapeutic doses in humans by both IV and oral routes, thereby enabling safe anti-MRSA treatment.

Regarding levofloxacin degradation, the best performing catalyst is 1B-0.1Ce-0.06Ag-TiO with degradation of 99% and 83% COD reduction in 100 min. The tridoped photocatalysts are very effective in the inactivation of Enterococcus faecalis, thus solving the problem of antimicrobial resistance in waters containing antibiotic residues.

The patient was successfully treated with levofloxacin and a red blood cell transfusion and discharged on the 32nd day of hospitalization...CONCLUSIONS Our case highlights that clinicians should be aware of Legionella spp. as a cause of DAH in an immunocompetent host with "crazy-paving" pattern on chest CT, and perform a urinary antigen test and BAL PCR for diagnosis.

Cerebellar dysfunction may be underestimated and requires appropriate management with antibiotic therapy and corticosteroid therapy. Recommendations for the management of Legionnaire's disease with severe extra-pulmonary symptoms are needed.
