Triplet regimens, such as lenalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (RVd) or thalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (VTd), are standard induction therapies for transplant-eligible patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM)...Daratumumab was used either in the first-line setting in combination with RVd or VTd or in the second-line setting with carfilzomib plus dexamethasone (Kd)...Similarly, the US analysis demonstrated dominance of a strategy incorporating daratumumab in first-line treatment regimens. Given that overall costs are reduced and outcomes are improved when daratumumab is used as part of a first-line regimen, the economic analysis indicates that addition of daratumumab to first-line RVd and VTd regimens is a dominant strategy compared to reserving its use for the second-line setting.

The evidence on different antenatal corticosteroid regimens was sparse, and does not support the use of one particular corticosteroid regimen over another.

We conclude that erythroderma due to allopurinol is the most common cause of drug reaction which need a careful assessment and treatment because of its manifestation that effect the patient's quality of life.

CASE PRESENTATION: A 71-year-old female with medical history significant for epilepsy status post right temporal lobectomy on Carbamazepine, left breast cancer status post resection, radiation and hormone therapy, asthma, and migraines presented to the emergency department with progressive shortness of breath, presyncope, fevers and joint stiffness...She was given vancomycin, Piperacillin-tazobactam and IV TMP-SMX- despite this she continued to decline, requiring intubation and ICU admission with trial of inhaled Epoprostenol and proning...Patient was initiated on 1000 mg solumedrol for 5 days with extended and slow taper resulting in great improvement and near resolution of symptoms over several weeks... This case highlights the importance that temporality to drug initiation may not be as pertinent as an appropriate lab work up including ANA, antihistone antibodies and cell counts in serum and BAL when ruling out possible drug induced lung injury.
