  • ||||||||||  Journal:  Diterpenoid WT-29 isolated from Wedelia exerted anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activities. (Pubmed Central) -  Nov 27, 2023
    Conclusion From these results, FCA is proposed as a useful functional ingredient to alleviate atopic dermatitis through skin topical application and oral administration. WT-29 isolated from Wedelia exerts anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects mainly through NF-?B, Nrf2/Keap-1, MAPK pathways and regulating of autophagy, suggesting that it might be a potential anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent and could be used as medicine or health benefit product.

    Median duration of serum-free IgE concentration maintained at < 82.8 ng/mL increased with increasing dose of YH35342 and were longer in all YH35324 dose groups than in the omalizumab and placebo groups (P<0.05). Keywords: Propolis, mast cell, anaphylaxis, histamine,

    Meanwhile, G-Rh2 reduced the levels of p-AKT, p38MAPK and Nrf2 in RBL-2H3 sensitized IgE cells and inhibited NF-κB signaling pathway activation by activating the AKT-Nrf2 and p38MAPK-Nrf2 pathways. G-Rh2 inhibits mast cell-induced allergic inflammation, which might be mediated by the AKT-Nrf2/NF-κB and p38MAPK-Nrf2/NF-κB signaling pathways.

    α-Humulene may attenuate HCl/ethanol-induced gastritis by inhibiting histamine release and NF-κB activation and stimulating antioxidants and mucosal protective factors, particularly Muc5ac and Muc6. Therefore, these data suggest that α-humulene is a potential drug candidate for the treatment of stress-induced or alcoholic gastritis.

    This comprehensive review serves as a useful resource for medicinal plants with anti-allergic rhinitis potential, understanding the underlying mechanisms of action and for future exploration to find natural product candidates in the development of novel anti-allergic rhinitis agents. TRI, as an active immunoregulatory factor, has great potential in the treatment of mast cell-mediated allergic diseases.
