Sigma's visual results allow for easy interpretation of data at a glance, with different visuals to accompany different views. For example, Clinical Trials show progress via bars; the MOA view groups different drugs according to target.
There are over 4,500 diseases in the Larvol Sigma database. Searching for a specific disease allows you to view drugs, companies, MOAs, and trials associated with that disease in an easy-to-read format. Click on a drug within that disease and you’ll be taken to the clinical trials view to get more information on the development status of the selected product.
Larvol Sigma catalogues over 11,000 drugs. Searching for a specific product takes you to the Trial Tracker, which lists relevant milestones and trials for that product.
Approximately 2,500 companies are included in the Larvol Sigma database. Each company has an individual page detailing all of the products in its pipeline as well as the diseases for which that company is conducting clinical trials.
The Larvol Sigma database contains nearly 1,100 mechanisms of action. The MOAs are sorted by MOA category (e.g., VEGFR-1 inhibitors are under VEGF). When you search for a specific MOA, you’re able to view the products within that MOA and the diseases associated with that MOA.
In addition, Sigma also allows you to view all of the available sites and facilities associated with each trial. This makes it easy to find where trials are being conducted.
