    Concomitant apatinib administration resulted in significant increases in systemic exposure to nifedipine and S-warfarin. Owing to the risk of pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions based on CYP3A4/CYP2C9 inhibition by apatinib, caution is advised in the concurrent use of apatinib with either CYP2C9 or CYP3A4 substrates.

    Nomograms were developed from clinical features and nutritional indicators to predict the probability of achieving 3-month and 4-month PFS and 7-month and 8-month OS with antiangiogenic therapy for advanced lung cancer. Dynamic changes in body composition before the initiation of treatment contributed to early detection of poor outcome.

    Importantly, plinabulin induced a functional M1-like polarization of tumor infiltrating macrophages in murine tumors as well as in tumor samples from ovarian cancer patients, by preferentially triggering M1 proliferation. Our study uncovers a novel immunomodulatory effect of plinabulin in directly triggering M1 polarization and proliferation as well as promoting TAM anti-tumoral effector functions.
