Clinical, Journal: First-in-patient study of hetrombopag in patients with chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. (Pubmed Central) - May 15, 2021 Hetrombopag was well tolerated and preliminary efficacious. Efficacy, safety and PK data suggested that 7.5 mg hetrombopag once daily was the anticipated therapeutic dose of hetrombopag in CITP patients and have been recommended to investigate in the later confirmatory clinical study of hetrombopag.

Clinical, Review, Journal: Apatinib-Induced Hand-Foot Skin Reaction in Chinese Patients With Liver Cancer. (Pubmed Central) - May 14, 2021 In this review, we summarize and review the current efficacy of apatinib and the prevalence of AI-HFSR in Chinese patients with liver cancer. Besides, we postulate the potential mechanisms underlying the development of AI-HFSR and discuss the optimal clinical management for this unwanted cutaneous side effect.

Biomarker, Journal, Tumor microenvironment: Jet-Lagged Nanoparticles Enhanced Immunotherapy Efficiency through Synergistic Reconstruction of Tumor Microenvironment and Normalized Tumor Vasculature. (Pubmed Central) - May 11, 2021 Herein, Jet-lagged nanoparticles, apatinib (APA)-loaded TEC-targeting nanodrug (APA/MCP) and lonidamine (LND)-loaded tumor cell-targeting nanodrug (LND/MCA), are constructed to combine vascular normalization therapy and tumor cell metabolic treatment...Moreover, the results of in vivo pharmacodynamic studies show that after the above synergistic reconstruction of TME and normalized tumor vasculature, the therapeutic effect of programmed death 1 (PD-1) drug is improved 3-folds to that of the PD-1 group. Above all, the strategy in this paper may propose an innovative vision to facilitate the tumor immunotherapy through high-precision spatiotemporal delivery strategy of nanodrugs.

Clinical, Journal: Aggravation of depigmentation for a non-small-cell lung cancer patient with pre-existing vitiligo using anti-programmed cell death-1 therapy: case report. (Pubmed Central) - May 6, 2021 Some studies found that patients with autoimmune or inflammatory disease are susceptible to immune checkpoint inhibitors and were associated with a significantly increased risk of immune-related adverse events. In our present report, we described a newly diagnosed non-small-cell lung cancer patient who suffered from focal vitiligo for approximately ten years and was treated with the anti-programmed cell death-1 receptor antibody camrelizumab (SHR-1210), which accelerated the aggravation of depigmentation of the skin over the whole body in just half a year.
