Conclusion Vunakizumab led to PASI 100 in a patient with severe plaque psoriasis and HIV co-infection within eight weeks, while maintaining HIV stability and a favorable safety profile.As HIV-positive patients are often excluded from trials, real-world evidence like this case backs vunakizumab as a feasible, effective choice for this refractory group.

(Pubmed Central) - Mar 11, 2026 Here, we report that inhibition of c-Abl with flumatinib mesylate significantly impairs the survival rate and exacerbates fungal burden in mice infected with Candida albicans...Collectively, our study uncovers a c-Abl/c-Cbl/MAPK signaling axis in dendritic cells that governs antifungal innate immunity, highlighting c-Cbl as a critical downstream mediator linking c-Abl to host defense against C. albicans. Our findings provide a mechanistic basis for fungal risk assessment in cancer patients treated with c-Abl inhibitors.

Journal: Apatinib induces zebrafish hepatotoxicity by inhibiting Wnt signaling and accumulation of oxidative stress. (Pubmed Central) - Mar 11, 2026 Apatinib induces down-regulation of key target genes of Wnt signaling pathway in zebrafish, and it is found that Wnt activator can significantly rescue liver developmental defects. These results suggest that apatinib may induce zebrafish hepatotoxicity by inhibiting the Wnt signaling pathway and up-regulating oxidative stress, helping to strengthen our understanding of rational clinical application of apatinib.
